While some of the For Honor team are in sunny LA attending the E3 conference and supporting the Ubisoft family there, the majority of our development team is here in Montreal working hard on continued improvements, new content, and the very important work of prepping to deploy our Public Test for the Ranked Tournament mode before the end of June! More on that in next week’s article.
But the E3 show didn’t stop us from having plenty to share this week in For Honor!
We were finally able to activate a change in the live game this week that we believe will improve the gameplay experience of all our players. The Quit Penalty introduces a 10 minute ban for players detected to be “rage quitting” matches before their completion. We felt this was a necessary measure to maintain the stability and integrity of matches.
This is an example of the ongoing work the team has been doing to continue to address stability and connectivity.
This week, For Honor adds the spooky Death Mist effect, usable by all Heroes on Idle, Emotes, and Executions.
This week, from June 16-19, complete as many PvP Elimination matches as you can, as a community, and you can earn 2,000 Steel!
The Faction War is heating up! With the completion of Season 2’s Second Round, we’ve put together this video to recap what’s transpired in the ongoing fight for territory between the Vikings, Knights, and Samurai.
This week brings with it another Live Update with a slew of balance changes. Check out the full Patch Notes here: Live Update 1.08.1
