Battlefield 4 Loves High Speed Memory

Games coming out over the past year have started to seriously push PC hardware in ways that we haven’t really seen since the first Crysis, but of all of them, the most brutal one might just be Battlefield 4. It’s one of the first games to require a 64-bit operating system, and EA even recommends 8GB of memory for most players. As we discovered, memory speed could actually bottleneck your gaming performance even if everything else in your system is cherry. If you’re prepping for Battlefield 4 or future games based on DICE’s monstrous Frostbite 3 engine, it may be time to not just upgrade the amount of memory you have, but the class, too.
